Called “fondant” for its extraordinary softness, this nougat was created by our maison between the two World Wars, at the request of Her Majesty Queen Elena of Savoy.

Born in Montenegro, the Queen wished to rediscover the flavor of the green pistachio nougat that reminded her of her homeland. Thus was born our “fondant” nougat, which we still produce today following the same recipe and with the same artisanal care as in the past.
