Known as “fondant” for its extraordinary softness, this nougat was created by our confectionery house between the two World Wars, at the request of Her Majesty Queen Elena of Savoy.

Originally from Montenegro, the Queen wished to rediscover the taste of green pistachio nougat, which reminded her of her homeland. From this desire, a unique speciality was born, which we still make today following the original recipe and preserving the same artisanal care as in the past.

The Mediterranean Pistachio

We select only pistachios from Mediterranean tradition, prized for their intense, aromatic taste. Their rich, velvety heart reveals delicate roasted notes, alongside a refined green nuance and a pleasant lingering finish.

LA LAVORAZIONE ARTIGIANALE

Il nostro torrone artigianale nasce da una lavorazione lenta: il miele scaldato viene amalgamato con albume montato a neve e lavorato nella torroniera. L’impasto viene poi steso a mano tra due strati di ostia, pressato tra tavole di legno e, una volta asciutto, tagliato manualmente.
