Collection: JAMS AND PRESERVES

We use fresh fruit in season to make jams and preserves, according to the traditional recipes, such as rose petal preserve, bitter orange jam with candied orange peel, strawberry, apricot and blueberry preserve and our iconic candied chestnut cream.

PRODUCTION OF ARTISANAL JAMS

Fresh seasonal fruit is used for the production of jams and preserves that follow traditional recipes: rose petal preserve, bitter orange marmalade with candied orange peels, strawberry jam, apricot jam and the iconic candied chestnut cream.

THE EVOLUTION OF PRESERVATION

The production of jams and preserves represents an evolution in the preservation of fruit and flowers. Our jam production follows artisanal methods that enhance the natural flavor of fruit, creating superior quality preserves.

ARTISANAL PROCESSING IN ANCIENT POTS

We use only fresh and ripe seasonal fruit, which our artisans cut by hand and cook slowly in large ancient pots, over direct fire, to preserve every nuance of flavor. This production of artisanal preserves guarantees a genuine product, rich in fruit.

OUR MOST PRECIOUS SPECIALTIES

Our most precious creations include the rose petal preserve, enriched with fresh petals for a touch of elegance; the bitter orange marmalade, embellished with candied peels that enhance its intense flavor; and the soft chestnut cream, which offers a velvety texture and refined aromatic bouquet, perfect for a unique taste experience.

The vibrant colors and enveloping aromas of fresh fruit are contained in our apricot jam, with over 60% fruit, and in the blueberry jam, made exclusively with wild forest blueberries with dark pulp. The production of jams and preserves follows the rhythm of the seasons, always guaranteeing maximum freshness.

Our acacia honey, obtained from bees that populate the territories of the Romanengo farm, with its unmistakable light shade, captures the pure essence of acacia blooming, with a rare fine and elegant crystallization. A product that pairs perfectly with our confectioner's sweets and fruit syrups.

FAQ

What's the difference between marmalade and jam?
Technically, marmalade refers only to citrus fruits, while jam concerns all other fruits. Both must contain at least 35% fresh fruit by law, but ours always exceed 60%.
How should your artisanal jams be stored?
Once opened, our jams keep in the refrigerator for 3-4 weeks. Unopened, in a cool, dark place, they maintain their quality for over two years thanks to the cooking and vacuum jarring process.
Why do your jams have such vibrant colors without dyes?
We use only very fresh, high-quality fruit. Slow cooking over direct fire and the high percentage of fruit preserve natural colors. We never add artificial dyes or preservatives.
What makes your chestnut cream special?
Our chestnut cream is made with candied chestnuts perfumed with orange blossom water. The velvety texture and aromatic bouquet make it unique, perfect both alone and as an accompaniment to cheeses and desserts.
Are your jams suitable for diabetics?
Although containing less sugar than industrial jams, our preserves still contain natural fruit sugars. We always recommend consulting your doctor to include them correctly in your diet.
