A soft, fondant nougat, created by our company in the years between the two world wars, at the request of Queen Elena of Savoy. Born in Montenegro, Queen Elena wanted to taste the green pistachio flavoured nougat which was traditionally made in her homeland at that time. The fondant nougat made with Bronte green pistachios, which we still produced today, is known as the "Queen's Nougat".
